Partnering with Everybodys Theatre Company(E.T.C.) and the Mount Dennis Community Kitchen, residents of Mount Dennis hosted this years Janes Walk to explore the neighborhood urban myths, realities and stories of living in a Priority Neighborhood.

The Mount Dennis Play Project: A Whole New Picture; explores relevant, social and urban issues, highlighting local heroes, green initiatives and the natural aspects of the neighborhood.

Walkers were guided through residential streets to the Humber river uncovering secret gardens and the idealic wildlife oasis known as Eglinton Flats.

Guests saw and heard from the diverse perspective of residents who make Mount Dennis their home, sharing their stories of ghosts from Kodak past, the turtles of Topham Pond and the heart warming beginnings of the Mount Dennis Community Kitchen – where residents shake up the perceptions of living in one of Torontos 13 priority neighborhoods
